Important concepts
Logical Reasoning asks whether a conclusion follows from stated premises. For categorical propositions, track the quantity and quality of each statement before applying immediate inferences, the square of opposition or syllogistic rules. Separate a valid form from a true-sounding claim, and identify the precise error in a fallacy. Indian logic adds its own account of knowledge and inference: know the pramāṇas and the parts of an inference, and distinguish a sound reason from a hetvābhāsa. In coding and analogy questions, make the transformation explicit and apply it consistently.
